Here are just a few example concepts we have done for our clients all involving phpMyDirectory. Please do not ask for live examples, because we won't give them out! We take our clients privacy very seriously. These are big budget projects in case you are wondering the cost.

General modifications we did:
- removed the entire front end of phpMyDirectory
- made the users area the default front end (requires a login)
- administrator can add/remove projects for a specific user
- each project is a library of photos the administrator does for the client
- admin can upload single photos, bulk upload zip files (script processes each photo in a zip file)
- users can login and view the projects assigned to them
- user can browse all photos assigend to each project under keywords the admin defined or general browsing
- user can add specific photo's to a shopping cart
- user can checkout/submit an order request with the photo's they wish to purchase
- admin can view pending/approved orders
- admin can view user behavious, browsing trends etc (custom tracking)

General modifications we did:
- highly customized members registration form, involving a 10 step listing submission wizard
- each step the user can configure options/images/descriptions for various parts of their listing
- customized edit lisitng wizard using a tabbed interface
- front end listing/directory is extremely modified (too much stuff to list here)
- custom viistors control panel, visitors can signup, create favorite lists, refer friends, pretty much like facebook :)

General modifications we did:
- removed the front end browsing/searching a replaced with a customized interface that is Google Maps oriented
- front page has a keyword/location box, and when entered/searched takes to a page with lists the search results in the left column, and a big Google Map in the right column populated with the search results
- customized html lightbox for items such as gallery/products/descriptions/contact etc

General modifications we did:
- completely rewritten browsing methods, user selects a category then 3 levels of locations
- each location/category has independant meta info + images
- admin interface for controlling all meta/images (when project was done, there were over 90,000 unique category/location meta data records in the database which generated serious unique content)
- customized video upload with an FFMPEG cron which automatically converts upload videos from their file formats to streaming flash (.flv)

General modifications we did:
- changed the listing appearance to similar to YouTube
- users can upload multiple videos
- video converting via a cron job using ffmpeg to streaming flash (.flv)
- visitor commenting on videos
- visitor rating videos
- customized search/video
- customized performer management section
